2nd Arizona Coues buck down

Got my second coues buck in 5 months. My tag opened on January 1 and I made it out scouting several times. Every time out I was on good bucks to include big mule deer. I shot this buck about two miles away from any roads or homes which was some work but well worth it. He was with a doe and they were working edge back to the small foothills where I stalked him last week while he was bedded on the Lee side of the foothill. Pretty cool applying the same tactics that are pit out on here to the Az deer. Highly recommend this hunting to anyone who may be on the fence. My cam pics revealed many shooter bucks.

Those are two great Coues! From what I've been told by some really good bow hunters, Coues might be the most difficult to take with a bow. I am definitely up for the challenge. Well done!

Those are great Coues! Big time congrats!

They really are a tough critter to bowhunt. I missed one on my first trip down there, but a little redemption last January as a buddy and I doubled up on public ground.
