I’m chomping at the bit to get in the field again
Technically I’ve only hunted 3 days for myself in all of November. One MN bowhunt, and filled my SD tag day 2. The rest of my hunts were helping my nephews in MN and friends in SD.
I’m ready to roll some smoke with the loader! I’M FEELING BEASTY. Feeling like something big is gonna take a dirt nap. Is it Saturday morning yet?

I’d be careful Tim. I’m bigger than you. We all are.

Just had a five point come from the direction of the bedding area, move by me at 30 yards, then work a scrape down the ridge from me. Feeling good for this evening.

Re: Live from the field 2020
Walked a lot of swamp today. Found some good sign but nothing that I’m making a drive up to bowhunt next year, and too much sign of people to gun hunt.
Snow switched to rain, got saturated, packed up and at the bar getting lunch. Mucchhhhhh better
And that wraps up my gun season

Wind is wrong. Hunting with a 5 and 7 year old with two orange vests tied to the outside of the blind. Decoy deployed. Chances of success .03% and loving every minute.

I’ve seen some bucks back up in their feet with nose to the ground during daylight hours.

Congrats to all the killers and good luck to everyone starting the late season grind.
Finished up guide duties with a good one. 22" inside spread and the left G2 is a bit over 15". The crew from MI filled 3 tags in 3 days.
