Pics of actual buck beds (post here)

I would like to see some pics of known buck beds and maybe a simple explanation on where they are and why they are there. I think this could really help out a bunch of guys on here including myself.

My phone broke so I dont have access to all my bed pics but ill post a few now then some next week sometime.

Maybe there is a thread on this already?

These are all in one draw overlooking a parking lot and I believe they are used based on wind direction.

The pics aren’t the clearest, that phone was junk from day one.

Here’s the final bed of this buck I shot yesterday. He had been bedded in it for about 45 minutes when I shot him in it.

Here is the other bed I saw him in. Watched him for over an hour in this bed. Once the sun moved to where it hit him he moved beds.

Here is one with a buck in it. Typical hill country bed located at the end of a point. The buck has wind to his back and a good visual of anything approaching from below. There is also good doe bedding along the top of the point and it's difficult to approach without bumping does first.

A couple weeks back I was helping a friend of mine do some scouting in a property he hunts. I had just pointed out a tree leaned over and told him that if a mature buck was going to be here I think this is where he’d be. I got to within about 5 yards of the buck before a 150 class 8 pt came out of the bed.

This buck was bedded up against a small water channel. He was bedded below the main timber in a 15 yard wide strip of grass and willows. Wind was from the timber to him. We approached it on a cross wind on a very windy day. I’m sure the buck felt safe, but the way he was bedded lends itself to killing him very easily on a windy day.

after 33 years hunting I found my first slam dunk, ni doubt for sure buck bed. I couldn't believe it after reading about it for years. It was on the edge of a hill, huge backdrop of a fallen pine. The buck that uses this bed has every advantage

I find good doe bedding in river bottoms that are somewhat open. Usually around a bend or oxbow. Also on the edges of clear-cuts with thick underbrush- but that have some open woods around the perimeter so they can see out for danger.
