This thread has exceeded my expectations already- great pics all the way around!

Hooks1, is that a String Tracker on your bow, or something else?

When the string trackers got big here in Michigan I had a buddy that would shout out, "DEER ON!!" every time he shot one with his bow, to imitate the "FISH ON!!" we yelled whenever we hooked a salmon on the Great Lakes.

Mn public 10 from when gas $4 a gallon. I told the guy at the check station I had one to check in, he got out to my car and asked where it was, he got a good laugh when I popped the trunk.

Yep, A string tracker made by Saunders Archery, I'm red/green color blind, helped me find 3 bucks when I didn't have anyone to track.

There are a lot of young hunters that have never heard about string trackers for bows. I haven't seen anyone post about their use on the Beast, I may have missed it, but I always found it interesting. My string broke a lot while the deer were fleeing, but they gave a great initial trail.

I must have had a spool of extra sticky string! I test fired it a few times and my arrow didn't even hit the target at 20 yards. So I never used it on an animal.

Geesh that was a long time ago!! :o :?

 yep, we are definitely aging ourselves with that subject. At about 15 yards the string tracker started dropping my arrow fast.
