Re: Mn bowfishing season opener
Bowfishing is year round in Wisconsin with the exception of some waterways, but I have not been out yet. Friends have been doing pretty good.

I am just using my deer rig at this time. Right now I don't even have a reel I am just using the arrow and some heavy tip up line

Re: Mn bowfishing season opener
I never use my "deer rig" its to hard on it... But buying an old used bow is fine. I actually bought a Forge bow designed for carp shooting.

Re: Mn bowfishing season opener
Yea I never use my deer bow for it either, have an actual bowfishing bow myself. My regular hunting bow would never hold up to the abuse I put on it with how often I go.
