I hoped u likes the taste of those carp czabs! This is the first time i've eaten smoked carp and they are just as good as any other fish except they're full of picker bones, the redhorse suckers have more than carp.

Besides that i dump them in a pile in the woods, and boy does it smell, i think that will be my cover scent below each of my tree stands  Not to mention ALL the maggots, its nasty really.

Smoking them?

How does that taste. I have a smoker but never considered eating a freakin carp.
If it bleeds, we can kill it . . . .

They are actually pretty darn good eating. You gotta brine them over night before smoking. 1 cup of salt per gallon of water.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I was pretty weary about smoking them at first, didn't want to waste all the time brining them and smoking them for a junk fish lol but it turned out really good. Personally i liked the redhorse better, the meat was so white on those and there wasn't as big of a mud line compared to the carp.

Like what Stanley said, we let them soak over night. Personal techniques does alot too. Either way :L:

Oh it was good...but like you said the bones were a little overwhelming. My dad liked it a lot more than me though!
