Lannon quarry is full of them if your using traps..... I always did better catching them with a homemade seine. I learned this from my Mom who grew up during the depression and lived off the land. We took old wooden frame screen windows and cut off one side so we had a square with a screen in it. Then we made a handle by nailing a 2x2 across the center. So it looked like a flat net. Then we would wade small rivers and take the seine and run it along the bottom up against the shore where grass hung in the water. We would fill 5 gallon pails within a few hours and have a big crayfish boil.
