That was Islamorada. That’s a staple but we’ve been venturing to the marquesas recently just exploring new stuff. Will probably head out to fort Jefferson next summer if we get good weather

That’s great. I love it down there.
We hit Boca Grande last trip. My first time out that way
It’s crazy beautiful down there.

I’ll be fishing the backcountry (from KW to Kemp Channel) in a couple weeks....weather permitting of course

We didn’t fish there. Finished lobstering and ran down there to beach the boat (my avatar) and drink. It’s a popular watering hole during that time.

Had no intentions of going fishing today but turned on the news when I woke up and weatherman said a storms a brewing. Suppose to drop 40 degrees by 3. Don’t have to tell me twice  Headed to the shallows on the North end of the lake and jumped in. Was fishing in roughly 3ft water which is currently 51 degrees. Only got to fish for about an hour b4 the wind turned and kicked up like something fierce quickly turning my fun into deadliest catch. Walked away with 6 crappie and 1 blue cat. Enough for a meal so no complaints from me.

Yes sir, I fried up a batch last night. Would guess it took about an hour to catch those fish yesterday. Right now if u can find em they are piled up pretty thick on every scrap of cover. Water temp is 60 and they are flooding to the shallows.
