Found 2 bank holes directly across from one another and pulled a single out of each almost identical in size. Left hand took a good beating today. Hoping for some flatheads on the next trip.

Nice man! Went for the first trip of the year yesterday. Water just to high, reached underneath a boat ramp and had one knock the fire out of me. Chest deep water couldn't get my feet under me. Long story short big sucker ate my lunch lol.

We caught those about 30 “creek” miles or further from the nearest major river. Never caught a blue that far up. That’s how much rain we’ve had since last fall. Most of last year’s holes were gone and those two were about knee deep. Can’t get your feet set, they win in their world.

Been having fun on the water this year. The big walleye was caught from shore on a river. Swim bait. My biggest ever in MN... 27 1/2”

Sweet walleye LD. Really nice.

There's actually a lake around here where it wouldn't be a keeper. A 1/2 inch too short.

I'd be tickled pink catching one like that.

Took the wife out to one of my favorite lakes an hour from home. 45 minutes after arriving we hadn’t had a bite yet, and the waves gave her motion sickness. “Take me back to shore or I’m gonna puke.” :?

I did, then talked her into letting me fish for 1/2 hour. I switched up locations and started hammering them on the rocks in 7 fow pulling cranks. Between walleyes, sheephead, and a smallmouth, I caught 10-11 fish in a little over an hour. 5 eyes, 3 keepers. Man alive I didn’t want to go home!! But with wife still not feeling well and kids needing to go to bed, there was no way around it. ;)

Would have had an easy limit if I could have stayed.

Sounds like a great time minus the family getting sick. Funny how a man can always line up on a pile of fish when he has no time. Give us all day and we can't catch squat lol. I have the same luck with whitetails.... If she only gives me until 9 a.m there will be bucks running all over the place. Get a all day kitchen pass and be lucky to catch a glimpse of a Forky. Believe there's some witchcraft going on! ;)

More than likely took my last fishing trip of the year a few days ago. Fun while it lasted now I get to get crankin on some honey do's b4 deer season. Might sneak out another time or two when my wife (chief of security) aka Captain Kiljoy isn't looking. Hope the rest of u guys whack em and stack em!

That's a good haul - crappie are the only fish I really like down south - kind of got spoiled on N walleye, pike and Y perch
