Co worker of mine offered to have me hunt up his property this year. I will have the last week of archery in PA to do so. I never hunted farm land before (im a hill country guy) I looked over the topo and aerals. Not sure what I am looking for the land looks the same. Help is much appreciated.
There is standing corn/bean fields around the 2 properties. Acorns all over. Where his yard is deer hang out there right at dusk. Not sure where they come from tho.

Red areas are where i can hunt. Issue i have is rut is starting not sure where to post for chasing. this place is loaded with deer in the fields on the drive in on morning hunts. they seem to vanish on post. you will see some here and there, too far for bow range
when hunting inside those red areas. What should i be looking for to get a some spots locked down. Thanks for your time all.

I would check the draw u have and small saddles there too see where the sign is follow the rub lines back to bedding
Then check the ridge tops and looks lime a few transition lines or changes in habitat. Check the point of that
Hope this helps
