Transitions

Guys im new and sorry for all the posts with questions
When scouting marshes
Do i walk the outside of woods or inside line of woods
Same with swamps

You want to walk any transition. Could be an transition where hardwoods start to meet the swamp or could be a less noticeable transition where open woods meets some thicker cover. Look for any transition you can find. Around here if your out in the marsh, walk where the hardwoods meet the frag. I would hope if your scouting now you are doing it with your stand on your back so you can setup and hunt the same time you find fresh sign.
Also if you haven't already check out the all time best thread, it should clear up alot of your questions. And I would recommend buying Dans DVDs also.

Ok guys thanks dan i just watched the videos and things make alot of sense and it was like an oh okay moment alot during the videos
And its shotgun season this week so i went to a really hard and awkward access woods ive had my eye on
So i think next week im gonna do alot of scout and hunt sits. I guess just walk the transition lines and set up on hottest sign I know
im gonna sit where i jumped that buck out of his bed first
