Same thing here. My lab will be 15 this year and just can't go those distances anymore. Looking back, I really wish I would have taken him even more. He absolutely loved it but I wasn't scouting back then like I do now. I'd tell everyone to take advantage of every opportunity to take your best friend into the wood because you won't be able to before you know it. Many missed opportunities here and makes me sad.

I started mine out when she was a pup around the house. Now I stash them around the yard. There’s plenty of online info on this
