Is it just marsh ground that is covered?

Do you put out X-Mas lights @ Halloween too?

Well I have 2 ways I can answer this. One is to say, why wouldn't you put x-mas lights up at Halloween, it's warmer and you don't have to turn them on. Or I could say, the lights stay up year round. Take your pic, I don't care. Most of these guys are busy with work, family, hunting, sport shows, and God knows what else. I figured they would have some plans together. It never hurts to try to get some dates, so I, myself can plan and pencil in.

Sweet, hill country would be nice. Hardly, if any marsh at all here in NW IL.

I would love to see a workshop focused around this type of area. CRP grassy areas with mixed in woods. Relatively little elevation change.
Lots of areas in the northern 1/3 of Illinois like this.

Please consider it Dan!

It would be great to have another hill country workshop at Land Between the Lakes.

Yes. Also Cherokee National Forest is HUGE, rough hunting. Catoosa would be cool too. I believe access would be simple. TWRA would probably pay you. @dan
