Nice day on Lake Michigan

Unread postby Tadmdad » Mon May 23, 2011 12:43 pm

We fished South Haven, Mi this morning.

Just a nice day on the lake, took out 3 of my buddies from 7am-1pm
ended up 11 for 13, 10 kings and 1 laker, 9 boxed, 2 released. Salmon
on the grill, a couple of cold ones, life is good.

Sounds like a good time, can't beat catching a few fish and tipping back a few cold ones unless you happen to be skinning out a slob buck and tipping back a few cold ones.

I hear ya HG...every season has it's place. May and October could each last for 3 months IMO. Just happens to be big lake time....but hunting season is coming.

A great way to spend a day. Adrenalin seems to be very knowlegable and a very good fisherman...charter fishing is a tough business. The 27' baha GLE is a great fishing platform....good luck to you guys...keep us posted.

Did you have any success putting together a HB charter trip? Is a great idea for a meet and greet.

Is that the trip with the prize winning Beasts? Good luck.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Sweet! Sounds like a lot of fun.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Yes sir, put up a short post on glf.

Weather is finally starting to stabilize, been a tough bite this spring.

How's the fishing been on your side of the pond?
