Small property

Unread postby Flat lake trad » Sat Sep 23, 2017 5:17 am

This is a 80 acre block. North is to the top of the screen which is where my only access is. The west side is a 7 acre duck pond. The other field is in rotation of corn and beans. The timber was basically clear cut about 15 years ago and it is full of small trees. The property line to the south is thick briar patch running the length of it. The stand to the west is a rifle only stand in the middle of four 75 yardish shooting lanes. The stand in to the south is a ladder stand. Just to north of that stand is a slough that always has massive rubs in it. How would y'all use these property? What wind direction would hunt it? And I only bow hunt now so where would you hang your stands? Neighboring property to the east killed a buck 3 years ago that we believed to be 6 years old. And I think that buck was bedding to the east of my south stand.[/img]

I see nothing.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
