That is a crazy sight. I'm trying to imagine how the bear closed in on a deer that big.

Believe it or not a bear is faster than a deer and can out run / catch one if it gets close enough. People don't think of bears as fast, but at short distances they are very fast.

Does that deer look like a piebald to anyone else? or is that just a summer coat thing? Either way really cool pic.

Did you hear the lady tell the guy its nature babe let it take its course or something to that nature. Pretty funny how disconnected most of society is from the harsh reality of the wild. Guy wants to call somebody and deprive the bear of it's meal!

Yea... Its disheartening to listen to out of touch liberals. Who is he going to call? Maybe google "guys who take deer away from bears" And even if there was such a group, could they possibly get there in time to save that deer?
I was watching the shooting of the Republican at the baseball game today on the news, and when he got shot the guy filming with his cell phone hiding behind a garbage phone yells out, somebody needs to help that man... Ain't someone going to help him? I looked at Carol and laughed and said, How about he goes over there and dodges bullets and "helps that man?" What a stupid comment...

It is probably to soon to joke about this, but im a dark humor kind of guy. I got myself laughing kinda hard at the fact that the dems won the baseball game 11-2. What tickled me so bad was first thing I thought was of course they lost they were trying to maintain positive control of their carry in those baseball uniforms!!!

Re: On the job backyard surprise (MUST SEE!)
Pretty interesting that they caught a full size deer.
I've never seen a bear catch a deer but I watched about a 350 pounder stalk a doe and fawn in field, he was after the fawn. He took his time and got pretty close, probably within 30 yards. The doe blew and the fawn took off. That doe stood on her hind feet and drove both front feet into that bear and proceeded to chase him about 300 yards out of the field. Was one of the neatest things I've seen.
