Wounded Vet
Anyone know if there is a wounded Vet program in Wisconsin for hunting purposes? I am still looking as I have a bear tag to donate.

Re: Wounded Vet
I don't know if this is exactly what you need or not, but there is a Heros Hunt for Vets in Wisconsin. Hope that can get you pointed in the right direction.

Re: Wounded Vet
My suggestion would be to contact the Wisconsin DAV. They should be able to connect you to some very deserving veterans.

Re: Wounded Vet
After searching for some time Northern Wisconsin Outfitters has finally located a Vet "Purple Heart" and are very excited to get this young man in the woods . I will send baiting pictures & videos throughout the summer and do a live hunt thread when the September hunt arrives.

It looks like a real nice outfit. One of our biggest hurdles we would have of out of state participants is transportation issues and if that hunter is successful the transporting of the meat, hide etc. We have found a great organization in Wisconsin "Heroes Hunt for Wounded Warriors" that we are excited in building a relationship with.Tufrthnails wrote:Get with Wishes for Warriors it is an awesome charity.

Awesome good to hear. I'm in the process of getting hooked up with wishes to volunteer to help with the stuff they do in FL. I love the fact that none of their admin takes a paycheck from the org.
