Nice, I really enjoy watching a sow and her cubs. Also i have noticed that there doesn't seem to be many young bears in the woods this year as in previous years.

I truly believe the wolves have something to do with that during the winter (hibernation) months up here in Northern Bayfield County. Pulling and killing cubs & yearlings out of dens.

I should clarify myself, those are actually yearlings...she is not nursing. Yes, look at those awesome coats, the fur is so long and prime, big fur balls.

I think it has to do with the last two winters being so mild that the wolfs are having a hard time killing the deer up here.

Still getting bears on camera... looks like it has a bad injury, little sleep over the winter should do some good!

Good stuff.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Maybe this snow and cold will put them to sleep (today in Northern Bayfield County away from the Big Lake) Image
