Got it done last night on my public land spot. The cold weather seemed to shut down the biggest bears. Smaller bears came in at 4:45. Shot this one at 7:05. Circled the bait a couple of times before committing. Very cautious had a 1/2 mile drag up and down a couple of ravines. No ATVs allowed. Very rewarding for a true DIY hunt.

I want to thank all the guys on here with all great information. Mike,Jimmy, Dan, Bernie. Some of you were on the bear hunting podcast with Matt which I used tactics from everyone. You get back what you put into it.Good luck to everyone still at it!
