Black Bear Scat?

Unread postby Trump45 » Mon Dec 21, 2020 12:16 pm

Live in Central NC... Bears are scarce here, but spotted every now and then. Pretty sure Black Bears are the only kind round here.

Is this Black Bear Scat? Two different places within 100 yards.

It’s hard to judge the size in the photo. It doesn’t look like bear to me either. The second photo looks almost like deer pellets forming.

I haven’t seen anything like it. It could be green slime

Thanks all. I am glad the consensus of Bear hunters is it is NOT Bear Scat.

Green Slime is interesting, never would have thunk it. I'll have to see if these sightings happen mostly after rain.
