Spring Thunder Mississippi Public Land Video Blog

Unread postby DeerDylan » Sat Mar 18, 2017 5:35 pm

I've been enjoying Aaron and crew's daily updates on their Mississippi public land hunt this week. The work that goes into editing and posting these after hunting each day is appreciated. Good luck fellas!

Here's the link to episode one. Scroll down to view the newer episodes.

I'm also enjoying this and really appreciate the hard work and lack of sleep they put in to make it happen. Guys are gonna sleep for a week straight after two and a half months of chasing long beards and posting vids. Goodluck guys!

I'm enjoying it too. I've hunted two of the wmas that are inside that block of national forest, but have never hunted the area he's hunting.

Don't think there's anyway that those jakes were doing that gobbling on the last video.

Hope he's having better luck than we are this morning. I'm stuck in the truck in the middle of a thunderstorm. Weather should be an hour or two from getting to him.

Looks like they called up a bird but weren't able to coordinate the shot on cam. I'd consider that a win if I was him. ;)

Rumor is that they killed one this morning! Congrats Aaron!

The cottonmouth in the day 5 update cracked me up. I was wondering when that was coming.

Yes unfortunately. In the last calendar year, I almost stepped on three. One almost a year ago to the date turkey hunting, one summer scouting in July, one checking a cam in late October. And that's just the ones I saw ha.

If you're around water down here, you better be looking.

You're living the life man! Good luck in TN!

There's a thread on an MS forum talking about how bad the turkey population is in the exact area you were in. Y'all did a heckuva job to pull two out of there in a week.
