Massachusetts Public Limbhanger
Opening day of Massachusetts turkey. I bought a license at 7:30. Got in the woods by 9:00. Had this limbhanger down at 11:30. Massachusetts public land!! 21lb 10 oz, 1 1/8" spur, 9" beard. Woot!
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Great bird! Congrats!!!
My hat is off to any MA turkey hunter! I don't know how you guys do it. I lived on Cape Cod for a summer. I had a big long beard come past the shack I lived in ever morning strutting and gobbling his head off... probably was it was light out stupid early...like 330 or 4 if I remember correctly. I loved hearing him and watching him put on his show...but it got old being woken up that early lol.
