Another smoke phase

I have never seen a smoke phase turkey in my life before this year. Saw a Tom in the spring in lower Michigan and this hen pictured above at our cabin in the Eastern UP near Detour 2 weeks ago. Cool stuff.

Regards
Chad

Very cool! I've only seen one. It was on a piece of public in West Central Missouri in 2013. Sure are pretty.

Nice... as much as I'd like to have one as a trophy... I'd almost let it pass hoping for more of them in the geneticsof an area.

Those are awesome! I'd love to get one. The only wild one I've seen in Michigan was in a metro park where they are protected

Very beautiful turkey, saw one While spring turkey hunting about 20 miles west of Elizabeth town KY about 15 years ago, he was a Tom, could not get him in close enough for a shot. They had a bunch of different color turkeys around there for some odd reason.
Persistence pays!!!
