New to the picture deal. The red is the property line and blue is the drainage I suspect a certain buck to be bedded. Where about would you all suspect his preferred location? any other areas that catch your attention? thanks.

Re: Hill Country Drainage
I'm no expert by any means. I've watched the DVD's and been studying this pretty intensely but I'm sure Dan or one of the other masters will chime in soon enough. Since ur a fellow Arkansas Hunter I figured I'd give a crack at it.
Like I said I' by no means an expert at this but this is what I would look at.
The 2 southern areas would be for a North wind.
The 2 northern areas would be for a North West wind.
The middle area on the West would be for an East wind.
& the middle area on the East would be for a West wind.
Obviously some of the areas are out of the boundary, but its still good to know.

Thanks chuck. That flat spot in the middle of the drainage I beleive may also be a good crossing.

Re: Hill Country Drainage
Really hard for me to see the elevation lines and wondering what the shaded areas are about... Can you post a regular topo?
