big dog and a red dog

Unread postby vanceg » Fri Jan 02, 2015 8:34 am

Caught my largest coyote this morning. We was 42lbs on the scale. I had never caught one over 35lbs. Caught my second red dog as well.

Beautiful killers!

My buddy shot a 55 pounder about 20-years ago - thing looked like a wolf...

Big boy.

I caught these in snares so no bait. Just set on trails. When I'm using foot holds the only bait I use is O'Gormans powder river paste bait.

Cool catch! There is a small population of coyotes that are just starting to show up in my area. I'm real interested to see how long it's going to take before they're all over the place.
