barbwire shed

Unread postby muddy » Wed Dec 29, 2010 11:54 am

Found this on a south facing slope in a state park about 7 years ago or so. No history with him, just got lucky. I don't think I've posted it on the Beast yet.

There was still fresh blood on the shed when I found it.

Awesome find Muddy... Surprised he survived assuming he was stuck for a while.

Look how tight and twisted the wire is. And barbed wire is hard to bend. I bet he was stuck on a fence for a while. Rare find.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Spy, that buck was lucky, all that wire in that area was really old and mostly rusted thru. It was really wrapped and twisted but it didn't take a lot of effort to actually twist wire off by hand when I tried in a few areas. Lucky it wasn't new wire,he wouldve been dead meat.
