Re: Hunting Rabbits w/ Slingshot
I hunted them with a "wrist rocket" slingshot and steel ball bearings when I was a teenager, but after a short time I decided that just because I could didn't mean I should. I felt it was much more humane to use a gun. At first I used my bow instead, but the first time I made one cry out from the arrow (it was closer to a scream) I said the heck with that and went to gun only. I really do regret having tried the slingshot and even my bow on such tiny targets such as a direct hit to the head and the lung area. For me one animal going through any unnecessary pain and suffering was too much for me. I was a good shot, but the target area's were so small I couldn't help but make less than perfect hits on a fairly regular basis. Just my experience.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Re: Hunting Rabbits w/ Slingshot
Have not killed rabbits withs a sling shot...I have shot many partridge though. I think I might have to start doing that again. It's been 10 years.
I don't use ball bearings...I use 1/2" nuts with great accuracy.
