Bow hunting small game (pic heavy)
One of my favorite things to do is to walk through the woods with my bow in hand looking for squirrels and other small game. Here is some pics from the last couple of years.
This was my favorite shot for a long time. I was deer hunting from the ground and this guy busted me and wouldn't stop barking at me. He was looking down at me on the side of the tree, when I shot, it stuck him to the tree and he was hanging from the arrow.
Split brow
We have soooo many armadillos around my house, I haven't even put a dent into them
This was another cool shot. 30 yards on a stump, it was crazy because the field tip cut his neck open while still going thru both arms.
This is probably my all time favorite shot. I was tracking a group of deer in the snow and came upon this guy. He was in a maze of logs and brush and kept popping in and out of holes. Finally he offered a shot and I took it.
Heart shot and pinned him!
This poor guy was on the run but stopped just long enough for me to shoot. As soon as I shot, he took off again. This was one of he very few times that I had a broad head on. To my surprise when I went to get my arrow, there laid his tail!
Head shot
Heart shot
Perfect quartering away shot
Alot of people give me a hard time and don't believe that I shoot squirrels with my bow. I practice practice practice and am really comfortable with my setup. I give Alot of credit to my release and sight.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Man I love it. Especially on the small targets, it really keeps me in check!

Awesome! My two favorite critters to hunt next to deer and turkey are squirrels and groundhogs with the bow.
