Awesome. I would like to hunt Kansas one of these years. How long did it take to draw?

First time I have ever applied for a unit in Kansas. I have hunted Kansas before but it was a 100% draw area. So I had no preference points. This area has a high draw rate as well.

I hunted private in the same zone last year. Better tape your jaw shut so it doesn't flop open when you see all the monster bucks. Terrain was very different for me, coming from Michigan. Your options are much more limited for treestand hunting. I'd pack a ground blind also. I think you will have a great time.

Is there not a good chance of getting a leftover tag? I know one guy that has gotten one for a few years in a row.

Not asking incase it's private but did you ever say what Unit you were in last year? Pretty sure I remember following your live thread.

You drew a tag in it. :D

Good luck Twolf!
I also drew my first ever Kansas tag and am definitely looking forward to it. I have a question I was hoping you guys could help me out with. I drew in unit 7 with "additional unit 8". Am I able to hunt both units 7 and 8?
