Trade a 8.5 lone wolf for Assault and sticks.
I have a 8.5 Lone Wolf I might trade for a Assault Lone Wolf and a set of hawk helium climbing sticks or a set of Lone wolf sticks. Just going to see what's out there. Thanks.

I'm just wondering what you don't like about the stand?

It's not wanting to cam lock real good to the tree. I thought it would be better cam lock. It's moving side to side was to much. I have the strap tight as it will get. But still want lock.

Make sure when you get on it your putting your weight in the center. If you step on one side or the other it will move around. Once I'm standing on it never had an issue with it wanting to kick out.

I've had one tree where it kicked out. Looked like I was setting up on the side of an egg.
Normal trees, works well, no issue with kick out

Using a second strap on the bottom helps. Don’t know if you have a second verse button on yours??

If it’s the 8.5 or older it shouldn’t. Mine is the 2008-10 model and has 2. I think Klemz had a thread on adding a second strap with no verse button. My worry is I don’t know if 2 straps is better than one and cam locking with my 300lb frame

Once u step on the middle and apply wieght then cam lock it by putting ur knee on the seat hugging the tree then with the other leg raise the platform up slowly and it will lock in tight

I do all that. I guess it was the tree I was on. But it's done it on 4 different trees so far.

Maybe I can get it going right. If not I might trade it or sale it.

If say keep it they are very hard to come across. I traded mine away cuz it collected dust and the trade just made sense for me. I love the stand but I'd rather it go to some one who will use it

IF you are going to sell it, I would highly suggest waiting until july- august of next year when everybody is all gung ho about deer season and getting the super ultra lightweight set ups
I'm betting waiting could net you another $100 on top of what you would get if you sold now when most aren't looking for anything, or don't have permission from the man of the house to spend money with the holidays coming up.

I'll prolly keep mine just cause they are so hard to find. It took me 3 years to get my hands on one. I'm sure I can work the kinks out of it.
