My Dad shot his biggest buck to date this afternoon at 4 pm. After watching a spike run around under his tree for 15 minuets this guy stepped out. Pretty pumped for him, I just wish I could have made the ride up to NH to help him with the drag and join in the excitement.

Winter wonderland in the big woods. MN season complete.

BigwoodsMN's Wife -- currently 2nd place in the biggest buck contest in the area, by weight. Her biggest buck.

BigwoodsMN's Dad -- shot this nice buck in frigid cold and blowing snow.

My good friend that has been hunting with me and my dad for about the past 10 years. His biggest buck. Nice 10pt.

BigwoodsMN -- I shot this buck one hour after my buddy shot his 10pt buck. Same runway. Does in heat in the immediate area so after we dragged his buck out I went right back to that spot as fast as possible and it paid off.

BigwoodsMN and Dad
I crippled this 10pt on Sunday PM. 4.8 miles in deep snow from the time I pulled the trigger until the deer was on the ground. 12 hours over 3 days: I tracked it 2 hours Sunday. I tracked it 8 hours Monday. I tracked it Tuesday AM and pushed it to a friend we had cut off the buck. Worked great. His biggest buck.

Off to Ontario to track deer with my dad. Maybe we'll get some there.
