Nice buck!! That is so interesting that the thermals were still rising even at dark. What was the temp and humidity like that day?

I don’t think it was thermals, well it couldn’t have been, it never warmed up that day and the sun never came out. It was cold , rainy and very windy. I had canopy on 3 sides of me but I was in a long opening with the wind blowing pretty much down the opening. I believe the wind speed traveling above the canopy was moving faster than the air down in the opening, creating a ‘vacuum’ pulling air up out of the opening... it’s very hard to explain thru writing.
