Back to CO for archery elk for me. I got to hunt elk every year I can because I'm not getting any younger.

Does a western VA/WNC bear and deer hunting trip count as "west'? It sure does for me! Maybe one day I'll go and hunt out in the real west, but for now I'm content with the Appalachians for my adventure style hunts.

Planning a CO high country archery mule deer hunt. If all else fails, OTC an elk tag there. Going is the only for certain thing. Need to start some elk points in an additional state as well.

Thinking Wyoming rifle deer in October. Not 100% on what general unit yet tho but feel pretty narrowed down. Other than that Wyoming elk and Antelope points and CO deer and elk points for sure.

Well my credit card got hit last week for AZ elk. Good moisture year so I burned my points. Might try to burn Deer points also.
WY-in the draw for general elk and waiting. Might burn my max deer points when that is due if I don't in AZ.
UT-app just submitted for all species
NM-next up on the due list for several species
MT-to be determined exactly what
CO-to be determined, probably mule deer. Maybe OTC elk tag to hit right after AZ if WY doesnt give me a tag. I am already out there so why not just stay another week! May burn my eldest sons elk points for rifle hunt... tbd.
To wrap it up whitetail rut in NE,KS,SD, or ND. Probably only one.

With the most recent events that have developed, if one can stretch the cash it should be good odds of drawing this year. Got my CO license and stamp in the mail yesterday. Just waiting on the first week of June for results.

CO, archery deer and elk and then SD antelope. Always could strike something cool in the tag lottery.

I haven't gotten my license yet but only did points.

This may be a great year for draws, Hopefully this stuff is over by time the season opens.

I think this will be a good year for a NR to draw units that usually required more points. However, at this point I can't bring myself to put in with a bunch of points for fear of drawing a decent tag and then not being able to hunt due to some other state's quarantine rules (which I hope will be lifted soon). Too much uncertainty for me at this time, so what ever I do will be a last minute decision to go with a tag or points.

CO deadline has passed. I already have some deer points and at ~$100 just to get another point (I know add elk and antelope for $18 more), I skipped this year since I plan to eventually hunt a low point unit anyway.

WY has a 14-day quarantine now. Deadline is June 1. Antelope hunting is my favorite, so will be a last minute decision between tag or point, based on what virus situation is.

CO sure seemed to put it to us with the 100 deer point.

I did think about WY being a possibility for folks on a leftover tag. If they ever have em again it'll be this year.
