I go every summer hunting them! Lots of miles in the mountains and lots of females and juveniles..we backpack and sleep in hammocks.. I usually just sex them measure and log it for the state.. it’s a of adrenaline rush and riot!

Yeah, not thinking the wife would allow that in the house. Pretty cool though.

Rattlers rare and protected here, so no chance I'd get one anyways.

That’s a beautiful mount and the gloss coat really makes it pop.

The snake is from Pennsylvania.... I live on the New York PA border... literally 15 mins I’m in PA... we have some timbers in letchworth state park that’s it

I've not had a rattler show me his teeth like that but have had moccasins do the tooth flicking thing.

Great mount, it is more realistic looking than most snake mounts I've seen. Guy did a good job.
