Great video. Thanks dan. I like how you broke down selecting THE tree when you were looking to set up. I feel like i over think it at that point and just keep thinking the next tree is going to be better or introduce an issue to why the tree im at is wrong and need to keep going before i run out of timber or see tails...

Great video Dan. I could watch a whole series like this. I loved the narration of your decision making as you went along. Identifying each decision point you reached, explaining it and your options and why you took the one you did.

Tracking-wise, when you crossed that first intersection of the buck you were following and other deer that crossed his trail, I noticed that pee hole in the snow. Maybe worth noting that it was most likely a doe squatting to urinate vs a buck that will relieve himself as he walks. Just another good indicator that you are actually following a decent sized buck vs a big old doe if you see dribbles along his path instead of the gaping yellow hole. Perhaps already mentioned on here.
