My 2011 Bear Hunt In Nova Scotia!

Unread postby Liberty-Hunt » Fri Aug 26, 2011 10:01 pm

That's it I'm very very seriously preparing my new trip in Nova Scotia with one of my Canadian Partner Jamie HICK (he is a great specialist on Bear hunting) for my company LIBERTY-HUNT. My bag are almost ready yet!
I'm going with 2 clients, one for a Bear like me and the other for a Whitetail Buck. They will bow hunting and I'll hunt with a crossbow (because of my shoulder accident...).

I'm going there the 24th September until the 2nd October.
I'll need to transit on the Philadelphia Airport. And stay there for around 8 hours!!!
I'll use this time for discovering some historic place there!
Like you may know, I'm very interested buy the US history, for example this year I had read the Lewis & Clark journey diary...2 book of Howard Zinn (an US historian)...the US declaration of independence...
So I can't miss the Liberty Bell, Independence National Historic Park, maybe the Independence Hall, etc.

If some one are close from there and can spend some hours there with me that could be easier and quicker and so fun...so let me know please!?

I'll let you inform step buy step and soon has I can! Stay tune ;)

Too cool. Good luck on the hunt.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Hope you blaze a brute with that crossbow.

On the Lewis & Clark read, did you see where they wintered before they crossed the mighty Mississippi. That is where I grew up. Wood River, IL for those that didn't read.

Yes, I followed the book looking on the map!
Of course all have well changed
I would love to see St Louis... A lot of French history there too.
I like the idea that French and US American have so much in common...a part of Lewis & Clark team was French.

Hope a dandy too for my hunt, thanks! 8-)

I have spent some time in Montreal area during the last 4 years and have grown to appreciate the French culture up there, but have never been to France.
