A Dane County judge halted the hunt today.

Because of course it’s Dane County.

Someone needs to appeal to a judge in Washburn County.

Well, is it still off or back on? I bet money it was on during the last 9 day guns season. I really wonder how many were shot over the gun season. The DNR has kept track of it but dont know where to find it.

The actual hunt is still off but I agree with you that some took lead this past 9 days. Which is a shame because they are a fantastic animal to hunt or trap. Wish we could whittle down the population but still have enough to enjoy a hunting or trapping season. I know the DNR does include a certain mortality factor for them but who knows how they came up with that number. If it's anything like their live count, well you know how accurate that is on pretty much anything.
