Made a drag rope

Paracord, a metal ring I had laying around, and part of an old hatchet handle. Excited to put it to use!

I have one in my pack for drawing deer
Mine is just one strand of 800 lb. test paracord.
I can’t remember the company name where I got it from.
It’s the kind with the wire woven inside too.
I’ve used it a number of times and works great. Takes up very little room in the pack or easily fits in one’s pocket

Made this just for coyotes...prob would make a wider handle for deer so I could use both hands.

Where do you drag them to? Do you skin all of them out? Have you ever eaten any coyotes?

I don’t hunt coyotes but when I kill one I usually just dump him in a ditch and leave them.

I like what you did here. I did similar with a skinny piece of pvc and some 8 or 9mm rope I got for climbing stick rope mods.

I use a Glens deer handle for a decade now and I cant imagine a better product. I think Walmart sells them as the HQ drag now. Only qbout 3 feet long. Easy on turns and keeps the head up to get over stuff.

I skin em and sell em. Not worth anything but I feel like a mountain man when I get to sell my furs...lol

So far eating them has only been joked about. I'm not that hungry yet.
