I was bragging' I know.
A buddy on a boat we rented caught a small bonnethead shark in Sanibel last month. It made the trip, pretty cool looking shark.

Re: Shark Fishing in Florida
The numbers of small sharks have made it up to GA, and the larger shark migrations in south FL have started.

Re: Shark Fishing in Florida
We are heading out Sat mourning for a trout tourney and we always catch a few sharks in April with the chum bag dragging. I'll try to get a pic or two if I can remember to. We are going out of Fort Pierce. Me and the neighbor will have our sons with us so I guarantee the chum bag will be dragging those two love to catch sharks when the bite slows down.

Re: Shark Fishing in Florida
Yes, we caught some small sharks in the 3 foot range before I left Florida late March.
Talk of heading down to the same area this winter again for work.....this next assignment could keep me in Florida into the summer months. Add hould be a lot better fishing then.

Unfortunately I haven't had time too do much fishing, but my brother is killing it in Melbourne area right now. We have a trip planned to Ft DeSoto this month and one in Aug and traditionally DeSoto is on fire June July and August when I've hit it in the past. So if your gonna be around in the summer next year you should be able wear em out.
