My solo boundary waters canoe adventure

Unread postby magicman54494 » Sat Jan 28, 2023 5:12 am

One of my dreams was to do a solo boundary waters canoe trip. I hunt up by the boundary waters and have always wanted to fish and camp. I am retired now so I took the plunge and bought a lightweight Kevlar canoe and made my dream come true. If you enjoy that sort of adventure, check out the video. Also, if you want to do a trip there I can give some rookie advise. I got a permit for this year and will be going back again in may!

Took a couple trips up into the Quetico back in the 1980's! But not solo. Adventures in wilderness country are always awesome! 8-)  :handgestures-thumbup:

Watched it last night, looks like a fun adventure. That canoe looks like a good one, too. Good stuff.
Go afield with a good attitude, with respect for the wildlife you hunt and for the forest and fields in which you walk. Immerse yourself in the outdoor experience. It will cleanse your soul and make you a better person. - Fred Bear
