Re: Live from the lake!
I had to go to a kids birthday party today and new I was going to be right next to Neosho pond... So I brought a fishing pole and went below the damn and casted a number 4 mepps silver aglia with no bucktail... in a 1/2 hour I caught 1 walleye, one small mouth, and one large mouth. Hopefully Carol can add some pic's.

Nice catch.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Not live from the lake, but a great night none the less. Kept 27. Lost a lunker crappie and perch.

Re: Live from the lake!
Looks good, dng! I have the boat ready for a walleye trip to Saginaw Bay and plan on live posting tomorrow. This will be a solo trip testing my gear. 5 walleye limit, 15 inch minimum. My reports are very dirty water and tough fishing...

Look forward to the report. Never been walleye fishing. More of a pike and catfish junkie. Good luck on the initial fire up of the boat.

Went up the river in town with a big spinner looking for pike... One small pike, one small bass. Looks like the pike went back down steam here already. The water was pretty warm.

Up drinking coffee... still dark out. Weather report looks good for the big lake! That's a good start. Fishing reports continue for heavily stained water... probly start with some hi-vis colors for the Walters.
