Blue Perch - very rare

Unread postby Singing Bridge » Wed Jul 04, 2018 1:18 pm

I have never caught a blue walleye but I have seen a reasonable number of pictures of them and they are rare.

I have never seen a picture of a blue perch- has any Beast caught one or seen a picture without searching online?

Neat looking. Between myself, friends, and others I know who have caught bucket loads of perch on Lake Erie I can't say I have ever seen or heard of a blue perch before.

I've heard of them, but still wondering on their origin. Hopefully not an indicator or minuscule water quality changes.

I should have checked in with my family on this- my dad has caught a few blue perch but never a blue walleye.
