For years it’s been my Remington pump 30-06 with a 3x9x50 Leopold scope so that is my answer cause it’s what I’m using and all I hunt is Deer but wouldn’t need anything more imo. For Deer I use 150 grain bullets

I love my Marlin 308MXLR, but the limited options for factory ammunition can be a pain.

Those of us who have one gun don't do it because we can't afford another one or twenty. It's just all we need. I only hunt for big game and the muzzleloader does fine for all of it. I have the option of hunting the muzzleloader season and the rifle seasons. I enjoy the old technology and a bit more challenge. Plus, blowing big clouds of smoke is fun.
Sure, muzzleloader does fine for all of it, provided that "all of it" is within 100 yards. You'd be hard-pressed to convince me to take a muzzleloader out west where I might be shooting 500, 700, or even 1000 yards.

I have a LH BDL bolt action model with the Monte Carlo stock. I LOVE IT!!! I got Mine Brand new in the box for $500.00 in 2005.

I can't answer this question, but if I could only keep one I'd keep my BAR in 3006. Super light, points like a laser, and is up to any North American job. I also have a 7mm remember mag 111 savage with synthetic stock for rainy days and general beating around.......and a 44 mag 1894 for swamp/thick stuff walking. This line up took me 20 years to settle on.

I already own it. A Winchester pre64 model 70 with a 3x9 Redfield scope on it. Capable of taking any North American game. The most versatile caliber out there
