Where did you draw for 2019?

As of right now I’m tagless for elk and got a mule deer tag for my home unit. I might be OTC but you never know what pops up. Where did you all draw and what species?

MCAAP Trad hunt - Unsuccessful

Looks like it is KY, OK & TX public for me this year.

I tried for Black Hills deer and East River rifle tags here in SD, and was unsuccessful with both.

MN Zone 28 bear, WY Unit 1 cow elk along with an overlapping WY Region A deer tag. Currently waiting on the July 11 leftover draw results for a private land only doe tag as well.

I’m not expecting a ton but one of my hunting buddies is in his 70’s and wanted to try out Iowa so a small group decided to put in for gun. I did find some spots out there that I think could pay off once guys start pushing.

Where I didn’t draw was Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, and Mn bear zone 51. It looks like I’ll be improving my skills in some otc zones this fall.

I was able to draw in to the MCAAP hunt for late October but was unsuccessful on elk as well. My wife drew in for the disabled hunt on MCAAP. Other than that, I'll be hunting public as well.

This will be fun! My wife scored her first tag. SD offers an Apprentice tag for new hunters that haven't had a license in the last 10 years so she applied and got one.

Picked up a .243 for her to use.
From 50 yards, my shot is the orange arrow hers is the red.
Not bad for her 4th shot ever.
