Re: 2020 Western Hunts
I’ll hunt Colorado for archery elk and mule deer for sure. I may also hunt antelope, bear and mountain lion. Possibly Arizona for coues and Javelina. Thats about it for the western side of things.
Oh, I have about 12 points for moose in Colorado so you never know....

Re: 2020 Western Hunts
I'm going to do my first western hunt this year, hopefully first rifle in CO for elk. If not that, then an OTC elk hunt in CO or ID.

Re: 2020 Western Hunts
I’m applying for a Montana deer tag this year trying for whitetails, it’ll be my first time hunting there. If I draw a tag.
Been cyber scouting it hard, but I don’t know what to really look for. I think I’m going to head towards the fort peck lake area. If not the powder river/ little Missouri River area looks good. But I’m not sure yet been doing a lot of research.

Re: 2020 Western Hunts
Montana (deer, elk, and hopefully antelope) I'll buy bear and wolf tags just in case I run into one.
South Dakota Archery Deer. I had a great time there last year.
Maybe ND archery whitetail. Will depend on if I can save up the cash to quit my job or not.

Re: 2020 Western Hunts
I could draw CO or WY for deer or WY or SD for antelope. Maybe NE deer OTC. I could also draw MN bear.
At this point, I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

Only thing I can afford to draw are caricatures of deer with a sharpie...

Your doing better than me. All I been able to draw lately is flies! Does that make me an artist too!? Anyone think a shower would help?

Hoping for a WY elk license this year. If not, it’ll be WY deer.

Re: 2020 Western Hunts
Would an elk hunt in Kentucky be a western hunt?
Not exactly sure what that is called.
