Anybody going to Wyoming this fall might be well-advised to check out the winterkill situation in your region.
Some areas got hit BAD with late heavy snows that took a hard toll on deer and elk, and especially antelope.

I haven't been keeping up fully on the situation, but these things tend to be regionally-sporadic.
I'd guess that many areas are devastated, but some hardly affected at all. (?)

I am sure there will be significant quota reductions by Fish and Game to help the herds recover.
But it will take a few years.

The antelope numbers did seem lower during the drive up from Denver and while we were doing stuff after the hunt.

3 guys got 3 antelope - pics in my journal.
