Im going to SE Ohio solo for the rut this year and am actually a bit worried about getting bitten by a timber rattle snake. We dont have killer snakes in Ontario. Just a ton of bears.

The public Im going to is VERY VERY hilly and I have read they like to use the hills for habitat which is unsettling.

All you can do is watch. I went down camp yesterday saw several, no prize winners.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.
