Cool shack. What did you use for the spray insulation?

Re: New shack
The froth pack kits you can get from Menards. Sprays on pretty easily, and really binds your framing together. Makes everything nice and rigid.

Re: New shack
nice shack. I wish I had the time to get out more. This season is a little down, especially with the warm weather this season.
What would you say the rough cost of it was?

Re: New shack
Rough idea on cost...probably around 2k for everything. I kept an envelope with all the receipts but I'm too scared to total it up!!!

Re: New shack
That thing looks awesome. To you just run a generator on the outside of the shack to power everything?

Re: New shack
I have it wired to run everything off a deep cycle marine battery or generator. I never really would need to use a generator unless I'm out there for more than a couple days. The deep cycle keeps everything going all weekend for me. I just wanted to have the option to plug a generator in if I wanted to. It's nice if I'm working on it at my house, I can just plug an extension cord into the outside receptacle and my shack and all the outlets in it have juice. If you're building one, I'd definitely recommend it.
