Much boot leather, many aching muscles, hours afield.

Well I found my lone shed for the year. It was laying 100 yards from my kill tree too. Awesome spot that just hasn’t panned out for me yet. Public.

Notice the 1/2” copper plumbing coupling next to it in the last pic. This thing is stupid big. Pretty sure it’s a year old.

Long story short, I don’t believe this deer lives in this area other than for wintering.

Wrapped up the season with #50 while in Montana a week ago.
Heck of a year, and one that’s definitely gunna be tough to top!!!
Countless miles, 50 sheds, 7 match sets, and one deadhead.

Nice finds!
Montana can grow some nice whitetails.

Love the retaining wall too; build it yourself?
Asking 'cause I should get going on building another one of my own...

Yeah dad built the retaining wall, turned out awesome!

Should’ve stated most the sheds were found in my home state, MN.

Was out cutting up some trees that fell onto my brothers fields, the other day. Found this one laying out in the field, first one I've ever found on his fields.

Had our best outing of the year today. Haven't measured yet, but the two big ones should be right around 70" each.
