1st stone marten catch in my home garden

Unread postby Liberty-Hunt » Sat Oct 24, 2015 7:06 am

1st stone marten catch in my home garden.

That's it after several weeks of patience I caught her!
She was playing with my nerves...But, like often patience pay! 8-)

Very cool.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Pretty little thing. We have pine marten north of me but I have never tried to trap them. Where are these native to?

Well of course the difference for the US is a few 7000Km, but we have also pine Marten here.
The stone marten like to live close from the humans and the color of the bottom fur are more close to the withe and the border line bet between the "withe" and the brown are irregular (for the pine marten is regular, like a clean line).

Nice catch!

The coloring is beautiful.

They are strong animals for their size.
